May 7, 14, 21, 28 –Grow’n Farmers’ Market at Firemen’s Park
Get all the fresh vegetables and fruits for the week! The Grow’n Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday, year round, offering organic produce, artisan foods, as well as arts and crafts. The market opens at 9:00 am and is located at the corner of Business 83 & 1st St., McAllen, TX.

May 13 – 15 – Fiesta de Mayo
This is the City of Edinburg’s 4th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration done in conjunction with the Consulate of Mexico in McAllen. The event is designed to promote awareness of the importance of Cinco de Mayo as well as celebrate the holiday through music, dance and the arts. The event will showcase 60 Mexican Artisans selling their wares, such as rebozos, embroidered clothing, leather goods, gold & silver jewelry, candies, and much more!
