The lead singer and guitarist for Grammy Award-winning Mexican alternative rock veterans Zoé, León Larregui will perform on September 2, 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM.
September 3 – Mocedades at the McAllen Convention Center
Mocedades, a Spanish singing group from the Basque Country, well-known for representing Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1973 with the hit song “Eres Tú” will perform on September 3, 8:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
September 7, 14, 21, 28 – Bentsen Palm RGV State Park Bird Walk
Every Wednesday this September join fellow ornithologist enthusiasts for a stroll through the amazing Bentsen Palm Rio Grande Valley State Park with a park naturalist showcasing several south Texas species such as the Altamira Oriole, Green Jay, Plain Chachalaca and Great Kiskadee. Weekly from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
September 13 – 11th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon and Auction

September 15 – The Mission Historical Museum 10th Annual Dinner Banquet
The annual fund raiser hosted by the Mission Historical Museum Board of Directors and Banquet committee will offer an evening to honor distinguished individuals and a silent auction. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a social hour and music followed by dinner and presentations.
